Who wants to experiment with me?
Experimentation is a cornerstone of my coaching philosophy, especially when working with clients who navigate the challenges of ADHD. When I encourage my clients to stretch beyond their comfort zones, I always remind them to view it like a scientific experiment. "It's not a commitment for the rest of your life," I'll say with a smile. "Just a trial run for the next week."
If it works, fantastic! If it doesn’t, that’s OK, too. We’ll analyze what got in the way, make adjustments and try again. Remember, an experiment that doesn’t succeed isn’t a failure; it’s a learning opportunity. Every trial brings us closer to understanding the unique ways our minds work.
It's been quite a while since I’ve blogged, and I've been feeling the itch to write again. So here I am, ready to experiment alongside you.
I don’t have a grand plan for this blog, but I know one thing for sure: Coaching those affected by ADHD and executive function challenges has been the most fulfilling work of my life. This space will be a place to explore new ideas, share information and discuss a wide range of topics. I hope you'll find useful tips, tools and — most importantly — a safe space to experiment with me.
